In a cruel twist of fate, it's odd that our original tagline was "life affirming stories by suicidal writers."

Long time collaborator and friend Robert Guskind was found dead of a drug overdose months before we closed Bleeds. Two days before his death he chatted with me online telling me he wanted to kill himself and the reasons why. I was going through a divorce, but I told him to call me no matter what, any time of night or day if he needed me. I'm sad he didn't take me up on that. Sometimes the wrong people kill themselves.

His work for Cherry Bleeds was amazing and we discussed doing a print run of his work. Soon, I'll link the archives he published. If we ever do a print run, all proceeds will go to a charity for suicide prevention.

If you're a shitty person, you use people, and you beat your girlfriend, please kill yourself. But if you just have overwhelming feelings, and you're sensitive and feel like life isn't worth living, there's an excellent chance you're one of the good ones. Exhaust ALL options before doing something irreversible.
