Choke
Choke will be coming out in paperback in a few months. I finally had a chance to read Chuck's latest work, so my life is complete for the moment. He's still twisted out of his mind. He delves into sexual addiction and more consumer terrorism (yes, the T-word). Don't skip ahead when you read it, but, when you come to page 258 in the hardcover edition, make sure to read it well....so if you're drunk and reading, dog ear the page to come back to it. It's a conversation Victor has with Tracy on the plane. That's all I'm going to say.....actually all of Chapter 40 is amazing. I didn't know until after reading the book, but Chapter 40 was published in Playboy as "Cruising Altitude". Chuck's next book, Lullaby, is due out September 2002. Let's make it clear right now, it will be part of Literary Love within a few months of its release date. Chuck says, "It makes Fight Club look like Little Women." My nipples are hard already. So, if you're on life support and you're thinking of pulling the plug or thinking of ending it all by jumping off a bridge or slicing your wrist, remember, at least wait until September 2002 to have a chance to read another great work by another brilliant living author. literary love, Tony DuShane |
