John Dorsey - October 2008

WILD FLOWERS

as a kid i
remember suicide
grew up by the side
of our house like
wild flowers  amongst other
things she  claimed to
be the   imaginary best
friend of   god though
she said  heaven was
just his  way of
over compensating  for having
a small   dick

how could i argue
with that?

she said there was
a fine art to
creation never fuck your
muse too hard you
can look but don't touch

she was smitten with
my heart's shadow i
didn't know what to
tell her my heart
had a vasectomy at a
very young age it
saw the kinda shit
that you just don't
want to give a
name to

our love was the
stuff of original sin
not some starving artist
song and dance number

though it was pop
somehow it wasn't meant
to be reproduced i
had a feeling that
someday in the right market
it would be worth
dying for
